Delaware County Action Plan (DCAP)
DCAP is a local initiative to understand and control ‘non-point sources’ of pollution within the county, especially if phosphorus-related. Recognizing the critical role of local governments in protecting water resources, DCAP presents management options to be formulated and performed at the local level within the economic limitations of businesses, farmers, communities and residents.
The Department of Watershed Affairs in Delhi provides overall coordination and administrative support for DCAP activities. The DCSWCD supports DCAP through our regular sponsoring of and participation in meetings and technical groups that deal with non-point source pollution issues, and engaging in timely research projects.
